In addition to building a five trailers, copying a cycle hitch and repairing a few bikes I hope I have achieved the main object of the visit teaching young men to make something, but to be adaptable in solving all sorts of problems.  Also I have left better facilities to enable people to make and repair things, to sharpen tools and (vaguely at the moment) hire out small tools.  The good traveller leaves only his footprints, but I hope I have left some simple skills to make a poor part of Africa more prosperous.
