Would you recommend volunteering to other people or not?
I would definitely recommend volunteering to other people; I have been so lucky to have had this incredible opportunity and I will cherish the memories I made forever. I would however be careful to explain that participating in responsible and ethical volunteering is very important. I saw many schools on my ride to the project that offered for people off the streets to come and teach English in the schools for an hour which is definitely a bad example of volunteering. Volunteering is the best thing you could do but only if you do it right.
